Your Exclusive Wedding Venue in Kildare
Since 1996 the Leixlip Manor and Gardens has welcomed over 1800 Weddings. With its unique backdrop and unrivalled private setting to host "Exclusively Yours" Weddings, Leixlip Manor and Gardens is one of the most popular and established Wedding venues in Leinster.
Our prospective Wedding couples can be assured that our wealth of experience and attention to detail will make their Wedding arrangements a little less stressful. Our small team of Wedding professionals who have tended to so many special days in the Manor are on hand to assist with anything you might need. However you imagine your special day, we are here to help that day come true for you.
The original Drawing Room with its high ceiling, plasterwork, open fireplaces and magnificient crystal chandeliers is flooded in natural daylight from it's beautiful Georgian Windows. The room is as original as the day the Manor was built. The room is accessed from the recently restored Front Hall with its black and white marble flooring and ornate gilded ceiling or from the Conservatory Bar. Your guests will immediately feel at home once they enter this beautiful Wedding setting.
From our experience the Arrivals Reception is a very important part of your Wedding celebration. Your guests may have travelled from afar or simply been too busy to have eaten before they arrive at the Manor. When they arrive at the Manor we would always recommend that your guests are well looked after with refreshments. We have for 2013 expanded our offering for the Arrivals Reception. Be it from the traditional tea/coffee & freshly made sandwiches too a much more elaborate offering we have catered too everyones taste and budget. Please click here for further details of our Arrivals Reception suggestions.
The Wedding Meal
The Main Wedding Meal, be it our most popular five course menu to a Buffet Wedding is one of the most important aspects of your day. You will of course have had the opportunity to taste and sample your chosen meal with us well in advance of your day and been able to change any aspect of your menu to your particular liking. Your tasting menu event is also a good opportunity to speak with our Head Chef should you so wish.
All our menus have been carefully written to appeal to our Wedding Couples and their guests. We can of course cater for any special dietary requests and have extensive Menus to choose from. Naturally all our suppliers have been working us for many years and we insist on using locally sourced and fully traceable produce. Our customers can be assured of absoulte quality, consistency and attention to detail with your chosen meal.
Some of our Wedding Team who will look after your guests
Again this part of your Wedding Day is very important. You may choose to invite many of your friends to attend the evening part of your Wedding Reception or feel that a more significant evening reception is appropriate to your day. In 2011 we launched some exciting new concepts for the Evening Reception. Imagine your guests enjoying a Midnight BBQ or even a Pig on a Spit BBQ late at night! Other options we have available are late evening Buffets, Nibbles under Moonlight and a Full Irish Breakfast at Midnight. Please click here for further details. If you have any specific ideas we would be delighted to discuss these with you.
Pre or Post Wedding Celebration
As the Leixlip Manor and Gardens is "exclusively yours" we would be delighted to discuss your plans if you are thinking of holding a Pre or Post Wedding Event. Post Wedding events have become very popular over the last year, particularly for Weddings that are leaving the Manor on a Sunday. Why not consider staying on and having a Brunch or a BBQ Lunch for your family and friends? It is an ideal way to extend your Wedding celebrations into the next day and it means that the Wedding couple have a chance to mingle with their guests in a more informal and relaxed manner. The Manor is ideal for hosting Buffets and BBQ's of all sizes and themes. Our excellent BBQ Menus are available for you to choose from and are expertly prepared and served by our team of Chefs.
A Pre-Wedding Event is normally held the day before the Wedding Reception and is an ideal way for your Wedding celebrations to begin!
We can provide you with a range of catering options from an informal Fork Supper, Buffet or a BBQ to a more formal dinner in the Drawing Room. Should you wish us to organise entertainment such as a Pianist or traditional folk group we would be delighted to assist.
Please note that our Pre and Post Wedding Events are subject to availability of the Manor. For further details and terms please contact the Wedding Team

Civil Wedding Ceremonies & Civil Partnerships at Leixlip Manor & Gardens
We are delighted to be able to host Civil Wedding Ceremonies & Civil Partnership Ceremonies at the Leixlip Manor and Gardens. Over the last number of years this option has become ever so more popular for our couples with the majority of the Ceremonies being held in the original Drawing Room of the Manor. As all Wedding Venues must be individually inspected for each and every civil marriage ceremony, the Health Service Executive (General Registrars Office) prohibits us in advertising that fact that we have been generally approved. However we can advise that we have held a large number of Civil Marriage Ceremonies at the Manor and that the process of inspections for each and every Ceremony has been passed.
The Manor with its complete privacy, elegant surroundings, ambience and attention to detail makes it the perfect backdrop for this most special part of your day. We can provide floral styling, a podium, PA, infact all the little touches to make it just the way you dream of. Our dedicated in-house wedding co-ordinator Lesley Daniels and her Team will take you through all the planning stages from the ceremony through to the celebrations afterwards.
