Lesley and the Ladies of the Manor! It has got to the stage where I am actually embarrassed at how long it has taken me to put pen to paper to thank you, but I suppose better late than never! It’s amazing how quickly life gets back to normal and after the short honeymoon I was inundated with work until the end of the year! First of all Happy New Year to you all and a prosperous 2013 for you, your families and your business. I really don’t know where to start with how wonderful a day I had on 30th October last. I was very determined to enjoy myself having done all the preparations in advance and enjoy myself I most certainly did. It was the happiest day ever. You played a big part in making it so perfect – I loved the venue, the decor, the food, the service, the welcome and all the work leading up to the day. Nothing was ever a problem for you and it was such a pleasure to deal with you amazing ladies – Lesley, Niamh, Rachel and Michelle – thank you from the bottom of my heart! Thank you for being so kind to my sister and my Mum who felt really well cared for. I have had huge positive feedback from guests on every aspect of the day and that is a credit to you and your hard work. I think the first photo attached says it all. This was when I was greeting you Lesley. I am also attaching a couple of nice shots taken in the grounds which I think worked really well in your beautiful gardens. Dear Lesley, I hope you and all the staff in Leixlip Manor are keeping well. I'm sorry for my delay in sending you our heartfelt thank you from myself and Des. We got married with you on the 21st Septmeber 2012, and we both had a fantastic day, the gardens and the Manor looked amazing in the September sunshine, and all our guest enjoyed sitting on the rear patio enjoying the sun and hospitality. The gardens are wonderful and our photos look amazing that were taken there. From the moment I listed visited lexilip Manor the first time I knew I wanted to get married there,its uniqueness and quaint decor and vintage feel not to mention the beautiful welcoming drive up to the manor sold us your venue. The professionalism of yourself and all members of the wedding team were outstanding and during the preparations you were all beyond helpful, no request was a problem and every email replied to. Please pass on our thanks to all members of the team. Our guests are all still talking about your beautiful venue, for the day I felt like a lady of the Manor. The food was amazing and most certainly the best 'wedding dinner' we have ever had and that's not me being bias, everyone of our guests complimented the food, I know we found it hard to pick our menu from all the delicious choices. Dear Leixlip Manor, Many months ago Úna and myself got married at your wonderful venue. This weekend, we caught up with some friends who attended the wedding but never received our thank you cards. We posted one to you all at or around the same time and hope it made it safely. Please do let us know if not, we're contacting a few people to confirm this. Our apologies in advance if not, but please believe we never had forgotten you on our "thank you" list! We wanted to make sure you had a record and wish to re-write some of our experiences from a wonderful day back on 19th July 2012. From the initial introductory meeting at Leixlip Manor (in the rain!) to the wedding day, our experience with the entire staff, location and venue was amazing. Between the absolute professionalism and calmness of Christian to the enthusiastic, bubbly and ever-so-helpful Niamh, we consider ourselves the luckiest wedding couple to have had Leixlip Manor involved from the beginning. We chose this venue for many reasons - stunning location, tradition and experience, amazing food, atmosphere and elegance of the interior design but it was the staff that continued to exceed all expectations at every stage of the wedding planning and day itself. The setting was so stylish but in the most wonderfully understated way, making all the guests so relaxed and welcome. We choice the BBQ (festival package) and all our guests loved it, as did we – people are still asking us about it now! Slightly more informal but without compromising high quality dining, Leixlip Manor got it spot on. The atmosphere was just ideal, from before the on-site civil ceremony until the evening finally wrapped up. The staff worked diligently at all times, with a smile on their faces, constantly attentive to all guests, making everyone feel so special. So for this and so much more, Úna and I say thank you to all the staff at Leixlip Manor for making our dream wedding come true! Thanks so very much for a fabulous day. From the moment we met you last January we knew we'd found not only a fabulous venue but also a totally professional team that we trusted would be able to deliver on our big day. And boy did you deliver, way beyond our dreams. Our plan was always to have a 'small' day part to the wedding, which became 95 guests in the end. And to have a big evening BBQ and pig on a spit for circa 80 additional evening guests. From the start we were advised to hire a patio pavillion with heaters so that guests could sit outside regardless of the weather. We did this and it worked very well. Not only was it pretty but it provided welcome outdoor space for guests to sit or just take a breather from the dancing. Furthermore, as it was a beautiful evening the BBQ and pig on a spit was served outside. There was no shortage of space and our guests mingled and moved around freely all evening. The food for both the meal and evening BBQ was superb, everyone said so. Our guests felt well cared for, nothing was too much for any member of staff on duty that night. We were looked after very well too, from the very warm welcome that greeted us at the door when we arrived, to the way you gently kept us moving so that there were no long gaps, dinner was served on time and our evening guests didn't have to wait ages for the meal to finish. From our point of view the whole day went smoothly, calmly and efficiently. It was extremely well managed and choreographed. The transition from sit down meal to evening entertainment was seamless. I was particularly impressed by the evening lighting that added to the ambience and the little extra touches that we weren't expecting like the fresh sandwiches that were served around 3am. You have an excellent team and a fabulous venue that's managed exquisitely. I have no hesitation in recommending you to my family, friends and colleagues. I could write an essay with the amount of thanks we have to you. Our guests are still raving about the wedding and our choice of venue, the food was perfect, the wine was flowing and the service was out of this word. The DJ kept the floor full for the entire evening, our legs were sore from dancing. One of my guests was very impressed with being called madam each time her drink was poured and the name Donal ( I think) pops up at lot so he really made an impression. You all do such an amazing job I have never experienced a wedding with such great service and people and I have been to a few. If we could do it all again, we would not change a thing. We had our wedding reception on September 27, 2012 at the Manor. It was the absolute perfect choice for our special day. We had guests flying in from many countries and it was so nice to have a private venue to be able to relax with our guests and not have "strangers" around. David and I also had a barbecue at the Manor the evening before the wedding and Lesley and the staff did an awesome job with that as well; it almost felt like we had two wedding receptions! The food for both the BBQ and the wedding was fabulous, my guests are still talking about how good it was! The gardens were a huge hit with everyone, especially the kids. Lesley and the staff are so professional and make you feel like you are royalty! Hi Lesley & Team, Firstly apologies we are only contacting you now between the honeymoon and then we had to move house. Myself and Caoimhe cannot thank yourself and all your team enough for your help in making our day so special – the venue and service were simply incredible. Everything from the arrival reception to the food to the guest rooms was perfect and it was only looking back on photos we really noticed all the little extra decorations (although our guests did notice) which were gorgeous. From our first meeting through to the day after our wedding everything was efficient and smooth – it’s almost unusual to receive such brilliant service. Champagne during the meal for the top table was a lovely touch, so thanks again. We got so many compliments about the venue, particularly its uniqueness, and the quality of the food. Given the magnificent day the fabulous gardens made for amazing photos. We were delighted with every aspect of the day and are so grateful for all your help.
